Burj al Arab's Helipad in Dubai

    well, give me an excuse if this thread had had be in this board before because i beginning to like tennis no more than a year. As a federer fan i know he won in Dubai earlier this season. And i wondering that the match held in a helipad in very altitude place. and many questions float to me. is all or just the final matches/match held in the helipad? we know as a prof, tennis players must be react over the ball with running side by side then from back to front n that's need some rooms, how the security work on that, is the players didn't scare that they could be fall because i don't see a space divider in the photos n where's the spectators?? in the matter of balls, i quess every drive the players did, it will be fall to earth, how many balls they prepared for the every matches? Is the helipad intentionally change just for this tournament or permanently??

    is it any websites which provide complete informations about this court??

    It's been officially announced that the men's finals of Wimbledon 2006 will be played on the Helipad @ Burj al Arab.

    Because the place the All-England Club was built in is named Wimbledon.

    i probably shouldn't do this... but the helipad session with federer and agassi was just a promo. they did some dinky shots back to each other and posed for pictures... very neat though!! tiger teeing off there was good too.

    just for the record...they didn';t actually play a match there, they just had a bit of a hit for press purposes
