    Hi All,

I am planning to buy couple of pairs of tennis shoes.

How does the warranty work in this case ??

    Thanks

If you wear out the outsole and the midsole is showing, send it back to the manufacturer and they will give you a new pair for free. ( before 6 months )

It's still 6 months after you bought them. Therefore it will be the same 6 months for both shoes.

Not quite right, you have to send a check as well for whatever Adidas states to send them to cover shipping back to you. You also have to include the cost of shipping it to them as well. It's going to cost up to $30 for another pair.

To OP, I wouldn't chance buying 2 pairs of Barricades unless you're sure that you can wear out the outsole for both pairs in 5 months(1 month before just in case your shoes don't ship to them in time).

I usually use barricades about 8-10 weeks because of weak toe protection (I drag my toe). I bought two barricades and used two shoes until I see holes.
sent two worn out shoes to claim the warranty together with two checks and one receipt. in this way, you can save shipping fee. Adidas will send two pair of replacement shoes.

    Hi,

I tried by barricades yesterday and they some what feel very tight.

Is it because of the break in that's required for these shoes? I used Nike Vapor tours before.

I was using EUR 46 for my old nike. I got the same for barricades as well.
Are they little smaller than the regualr size ?

    Thanks

    Sorry, my bad.
I am an Australian and i gave my barricades back to my local tennis shop and they sent it out at no charge. Didn't pay a cent for my new ones.
I don't know how the format works at other places.

In the US we have to send it to the Adidas warehouse to get it inspected and then we get a pair sent back to us, wish we could just go to a local tennis shop...

Damn, that sucks. The tennis shop near my house is a 5 minute walk.
I just waited a couple of weeks when I handed the shoes in and they gave me a call telling me to come pick up the new pair.

    HI ,

I decided to measure my feet to find out the size ( should have that before i brought my shoes ) and followed the method described in tennis warehouse site.

and the length came up as 11 1/2 inches and width as 4 1/4 inches.

So according to that calculation my shoe size is 11.

When i put on 11 1/2 size they felt little tight. Will give some more time for the break in period.

How many hours generally it takes for the break in ?

    Thanks

1-2 days of playing, but I would recommend you also use your barricades while walking around to help further break it in. Don't tie your laces too tight in the beginning, let it form into your foot size and then when it's broken in tie it as tight as you like it.
