Calling Rabbit Re: Stolle Emerson Racquet

  1. Among my father's things, I found a Stolle Emerson (SET) racquet that I am trying to get some information about. I saw on an earlier thread from last year where you referred to such a racquet. Mine is very light weight and is marked SL 4"
The label on the side says something like Jumbo Jr but the rest is worn off. It has 5 broken grommets and I read another posting that just a few might not affect the playing ability. Do you think this might be made of Boron? I am wondering if this is a "collectible" and if so if there might be a market for it. I don't know where or when he obtained it.

Sounds like a junior racquet. Probably not worth much.

    But I could be wrong.

It might be worth something as SET tennis didn't have a very long run. If you're interested in selling it, I might would take a few pictures and post on bay-e. However, I don't have any idea how much it's worth.
