CALPRO CG-1000...anybody know of these?

    Just picked this racquet up at a tag sale...CALPRO CG-1000. It appears to be a 90sq inch head with a flat beam style. Grey coloring with Gold and White stripe and a leather grip very similar to the original PS.

    Good weight and head light...the top of the frame states "graphite composite" but no other markings on the racquet. Googled it and nothing came up. Will post some pics later.

    Going to string it up with some new strings and see how it plays.:p

    You know, Chinese manufacturers will rip off anything. I'm guessing one of them with a racquet factory decided to knock off the ubiquitous 90 head, flat beam graphite frame that everybody from Wilson to Pro Kennex sold back in the 80's.

    More likely someone just bought a generic batch of 90sq frames from ProKennex - they and their factories did produce the bulk of all graphite racquets in the mid-late 80's and 90's.

    Good point. I'm always coming across generic graphites that look like the PK graphite Ace series. I bet you are right.
