can a racquet lose tension if it hits the ground pretty hard. because when i was serving i had a loose grip and after i hit the ball my racquet hit the ground and bounced up to my head (i'm 6'0 feet tall).

Well, if you break it, it's likely to lose some tension.

I'm not sure about string tension... but that racquet won't last much longer if you throw it alot even though this was an accident

yea well racquets can break on the first time its thrown "Pretty hard" to the ground. as for losing tension without breaking, i doubt it

I think it's pretty hard to make a racquet lose tension if it's not broken.

If the shape of the head changed a bit, then tension could be affected. Not so likely otherwise AFAIK.
