Can Hybrid w/Polyester Play Softer Than All MicroFilament?

I tried someone's Wilson 6.1 racket who had a hybrid setup and was amazed by how comfortable, powerful, and accurate it was (I've been out of the racket market for a while.)

So, I order one to demo from TT (microfilament option) and found it significantly harsher (and less accurate). Does this make sense? If I'm looking for most arm-friendly setup possible is a hybrid with polyester at a low tension something I should consider?

    thx, Jon

Put an XCel or NRGĀ² in your racquet. I dare you to find another polyester that play as comfortable.

I'll someday take your dare, but my question really is polyester vs. high-quality micro-filament

What was the hybrid? Was it natural gut?

I assumed it was some micro-filament with polyester...

Poly crosses with low tension perhaps... Isn't the whole point of poly is to AVOID soft/mushy multis?

Depends. At high tension, multi can be quite boardy and stiff. Poly at low tension can sometimes be more comfy.

I have a Spiral Flex / Cyber Flash 57/54 setup in my Head LM Rad OS. I was surprised how soft it came out.
