I have not worn the Barricade IIs - only the IIIs, but will check with some of the other guys who have.

Thanks Chris. I'll be waiting for what the other guys say of the II's performance on various surfaces.

While I cannot speak for grass court play, I spoke to some players who have used this shoe on clay. The regular Barricade IIs gripped very well but were a little stiff for clay courts and tended to chew up the surface somewhat. We would recommend going with the clay specific Barricade II if clay is going to be your primary hitting surface.

Traction on hard courts was excellent.

Very grateful for the input Chris and other TW staff. My primarily hitting surface will be hard and I'll also be playing on clay and other soft surfaces occasionally. These shoes will be excellent.
