i live in so cali, temp in 70s to 80s most of the time (right now its hot, though), i have wilson sensation strings usually at 16g(today at 17g) and 54lbs. will leaving my racket in the trunk reduce string life or should i take it to my room?

Never leave your racquet in your car.

you can, but there are some things just to be aware of. Heat will sometimes damage the frame stucturally and can affect the way the strings play. Also, lock your car, my friends neighbors racquets were taken from their car

I agree. Don't leave the racquets in the car.
