yes u can, i just took a trip last month with a backpack and my head tennis bag with 3 racquets inside and tennis balls and it was all carry-on, the rule is a small personal bag = backpack and a regular bag to put in a compartment = tennis bag, if the plane isnt full then u can put all ur luggage onto the seat next to u

why not just take the frames on in single covers, and stow the 6pack? If you're only taking 2 frames, might avoid any hassles...

I've taken my Wilson six-pack and a small suitcase on many planes, and only had trouble one time. It was a very small plane and very full, and they told me I had to check one of my bags. I checked the suitcase, of course, and kept my tennis bag with me. No problems.

I've done this in the US and its fine. DON'T try and do this on internationals :). Usually leaving the US its fine but coming back, now thats another story. In the UK at the moment they are so tight on this stuff. 1 piece only and small dimensions. A handbag counts as a piece for example. I've had my backpack put in the hold for being over (40ltr).
