Well, it's strange because I have never been so relaxed in a job interview, but I don't feel insulted by this at all. My current job needs me to stick around a little bit longer and I like my co-workers, so I'll hang around even without the benefits (it's just a temp assignment). At least now I don't feel guilty about taking a week off in February to go to the San Jose tournament. I'll be able to enjoy my time down there relatively stress free.

Again? Let the games begin. (I thought Tremors was the only movie they played over and over again).

"Am I going mad, or did the word "think" escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic land mass." (I should add that that's from the movie). :)

Okay, I officially miss Phil. Where did he go? Am I to walk through life slaying the dragons alone? Did someone tick him off, 'cause I'll get 'em but good if they did!! Seriously, I hope everything is all right with him. (in a breathy Southern Nicole Kidman voice from Cold Mountain).."Phil come back to me. This is my request". ;) :p

Start a thread about nekkid pagan dancing, he'll show up. ;)

    I hope he's okay too...

I'm uploading many many photos to JMG and JG's myspace pages, now that you are allowed 300. I could be here all night long.

Yeah, I heard that and am getting a scanner as I only have so many on computer. Can't wait to check out their pages - haven't been there in quite a while. Are you adding more to your space as well?? I even brought the Zeus page back from page 2, but he never came. Storm, Mohmoh and Plunger have both been MIA (at least Phil made a couple posts). Hmmm... Deuce has posted lately though. :)

Gah! I'm on photo overload! I have so many pictures of JMG I can't decide what to put up there even though we just agreed that I can do whatever and he'll just delete what he doesn't like. I probably shouldn't try to do this when I'm tired...

I'll add more to mine later. I have discs all over the place, not so many loaded onto the desktop it seems.

Fee, I just checked out Justin's page - lookin' good. The little blonde girl is so adorable - those eyes!! I'm assuming the dark haired woman is his girlfriend? I never realized he was quite so tall. You should throw more of yourself on there (you can put one of me on there just so he can say..WHF!!). One of my friends on there has my pictures on his site. lol. I request puppy pics - her name is Joy? Yeah, with both their sites I imagine you'll be busy for a while anyway. "Inconceivable!!!" LOL. Later, CC

not a big dessert guy? man - i wish i didn't like them much. i'm pretty convinced i have chocolate running in my veins. my dad has worked for a local candy company for most of my life....and i think my love of the sugar is thoroughly ingrained.

hey - any beignets served here at the pub CC? sounds good. maybe some milk and beignets....... yes, i would like to change my order. ; )

okay - talk at you guys later. hope everyone has had a good week.

He's 6'5" I think, and thin so he looks taller, and the long curly hair adds a half inch. I'm saying anything about the brunette just yet. I might put another picture of myself on there, just to see if he notices. Those girls are too cute for words, he's good with kids. No puppy pictures just yet, I think she comes home next week so there could be more coming.

I changed my mind..I want a tea. Earl grey with lemon and honey.
Oh Bette, that sucks....how could that loser with a pierced belly beat Carlos? And in straights? :-( Carlos' thoughts must have been somewhere else...maybe outside of DC? ;-)

I know, his mind certainly wasn't on the court was it? Feel better soon, you might want a shot of brandy in that tea for "medicinal purposes" only of course....hugs Cro so she will feel better

70 degrees....wow! it's colder here... we're at 50. which i consider perfect - because you don't really need the heater or the AC...! yeah on the utility bill!

looking forward to sydney for you lady! go Carlito! oh, and you know i love to provide the images. well, find them anyway. maybe someday i'll get to take some myself.

you all have a fabulous night! i'm off to a b-day party for may dad. 71 years. and we're celebrating his retirement. he's been working since he was 10!!!

    peace!

Thanks, but I'm mostly okay with it. To be honest, I'm more concerned that I get to spend a week at the San Jose tournament in February, I'll get more serious about looking after that. My priorities are a bit off kilter at the moment, but I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with myself and my assorted talents. I'm feeling unusually restless about work lately and I just can't figure out why.

If someone is treating you as an option, then it might be time to take a look at that relationship. Perhaps you should move that person down the list a little bit. I have a friend like that and its a very tough decision for me. I love him dearly, and when we talk everything is great, but he can disappear for a while and not answer phone calls or messages. When he does that, I have to wonder what his story is. I know it's not personal, he just gets busy, but it still makes me wonder if I should use my energy for other things.

Do you want to treat people better than they treat you, or do you want to just treat them the same? It's your decision to make. It's not easy.

i was just going to tell you not to answer my question , the answer is too damn obvious , certain people treated me like that because i let them do that , anyway it's too late now i should have learned that long ago but it's just that everyonce in a while one just needs someone to tell him that , thnx anyway Fee , you're a kind person ..

Hey everyone, how are my favourite pub dwellers doin' tonight? How was everyone's weekend? Anything exciting happen, any stories, anyone arrested for disorderly conduct or public mischief? (j/k).
The one thing I love about this forum is the anonymity it holds - you can share if you want to, or hold back to whatever one's personal comfort level is. My mom called me tonight and told me that she got a call from some woman asking for my phone number for my ex b/f. Yeah, that's the reason I have an unlisted number and am so hesitant about putting my mug on the net, etc. Needless to say, my mom refused to give it, but I am horrified that she is still fielding calls from this unbelievable freak of nature who can't seem to get it after all these years. Ladies, word to the wise, be so careful when you date guys - there are so many disasters out there just lurking in the shadows. Thank god I have excellent friends who are supportive and pre-check places for me to make sure he's not around before I go in. One of the reasons I can't wait to move!!
Sorry, I'm frustrated and just had to get that off my chest.

I'd like to say I'm over it, but unfortunately it still shakes me to the core whenever I have to deal with this, and I feel sorry for my family that he continues to hound them. I can speak of this because I know I'm not the only woman by any stretch who has to deal with this crap - I just wish he'd go away. BTW.. on a brighter note, I posted my pic and it was your post that made me get off me lazy arse and do it. Thanks SF!! :)

Wow sorry to hear about that CC. Hope everything works out, and just keep being careful.

What did I do this weekend?? Played tennis for the firtst time in weeks (90 degree heat)-almost passed out. All that extra food and booze and maryjane did not help.

Partied again at beautiful Coconut Grove, and Sunset Place. We saw a great Flamenco/Jazz band in a small bar that was very steamy and hot! YEAH!! Lots of jokes, dancing (salsa), and uhummm...

Could you pass me a glass of water??

Thanks guys. Sorry to complain - it's not my nature to beef about personal issues, I was just angry and needed to get it off my chest.
Yes, I will be worry-free soon. :) On a bright note, I just picked up a whole mess of Christmas decorations at an absolute steal. I'm starting to run out of storage space. LOL.

They went after KK?? Which thread?? I didn't see it because I hadn't been on the forum for well over a week. Did the spider monkey from Ireland get as nasty with KK?? That spider monkey needs a new tree. LMAO I think I am going back to that bar right now, I'll be back in a minute. Hold my seat and carlsberg for me.

Oh, sorry to hear that - at least it wasn't a bust(waste) though. You still managed to enjoy yourselves. I've kicked that flu far, far away Sag, thanks for asking. :) Now I'm looking around my apartment thinking of all the things I haven't had a chance to get to over the last couple of weeks, aargh!! Tomorrow, Christmas comes down.

Nope - but we're not supposed to discuss why members are banned Sag, it's frowned upon. My only guess is that one of the TW rules were broken, but hopefully it's not permanent.

Drak, I tried to respond to you on G's thread but it was deleted. lol.I have been so amused tonight, I'm hesitant to log off for fear of missing something hilarious. Every thread I read is so amusing tonight.

Oh Drak, it doesn't get much better than tonight. Phil is back but has not responded to me yet. All we need is for Deuce to emerge from his cave and we'll have ourselves a real fist-to-cuffs (Sag, that means a brawl). ;)

I did not post in the "Who's You Like To Meet thread". What list are you referring to this one from the "Do humanity a favor" thread?
