Hi. Yeah, I'm thinking about getting some gear now, but I'm not sure if I'll be going multiple times a year to justify the cost of equipment. So when are you coming to this side again?

Evening. The CEO of the ATP Tour (affectionately called Mr Disney becuase of his previous job) has decided that the way to fix the tour is to change the name. It will now be called the ATP Worldwide Tour (or ATPWT, which just looks kind of obscene somehow). This news alone requires that someone pour me a top shelf Long Island Iced Tea (Tanqueray Gin, Absolut Vodka, Bacardi Rum). Thanks.

Why change the name - that's confusing and absurd. I suppose everyone wants their moment of recognition, eh? Only the best for you Fee - comin' right up. :)

I have a question as well. Can I get two grams of Morrocan in this cafe? If so, I would gladly plug my jump-drive in your laptop and play the song "Wishful Thinking" by Wilco for all the derelicts such as myself gathered at your establishment. I might also be talked into reading a couple passages from Robert McKee's book Story.

Oh. I find plenty of time, but the city I live in is a hockey town. There is little recognition of tennis and although we have beautiful courts for the spring, fall and summer - they are unfortunately covered by about two feet of snow at the present time. No indoor courts here - hence, the ton of time on my hands. :D I'm like a twitchy nervous fox waiting for the season to begin so I can at least partake in a little tv tennis.

It rained a little today on the East Trail US 41 towards Everglades City. Collier County. I almost had to move further south...
No Morrocan in this cafe? I thought you Canucks were progressive... unlike those of us in Florida:x

Wow. Snowed in and no indoor courts. I live in the Chicago suburbs and fortunately there are plenty of indoor clubs around here. I actually end up playing more often during the winter than in the summer; there are more leagues and organized indoor drills in the winter. I much prefer playing outdoors though when the weather is great and the tennis is FREE. :)

Feel free to entertain yourselves while I'm away. Gimme something to work on here - some advice to give or a riddle to solve - just like Norm Drak..you are. Givin' me grief.. you are. Hmmmmm..yes..hmmm. :)

AHH, don't be sad CC. Here is a riddle:

An empty room with nothing more than a chandelier, a rope attached to it, and a dead man hanging from the rope. The man is suspended in mid air. There is a puddle of water underneath him. How did he hang himself?

And don't forget to hand me another Carlsberg while you are thinking this one over.

Here's your Carlsbad, sweet pea! I've never watched an episode of the Office although I hear it's a great show. My guess would be that there was a block of ice that he stepped on to hang himself and it melted.
    Do I get a cookie?? :)

Was I at least right with the shadow?? My mind is racing and my self-image of a genius is suffering a small crack. It is not human or animal - hmmm.... c'mon, just one hint??

Okay Drak - you leave me with a stumper and run away?? I will take your light saber for a day if you mess with me again. There is a cold Carlsbad sweating on the bar which will go stale if you do not return soon. :)
As for the riddle there are two possibilities (I'm thinking it is not a shadow so much anymore). The answer is human. Walks of four legs as a baby, two as an adult and uses a cane as a seniour. That is if you follow the day as the seasons in relation to the span of life. If I am right then you are evil for placing that gem at my feet - if not the next one is on me. Either way, my answer is man.
Do I get a cookie now???

Drak, I'm still waiting for another riddle - sheesh!! Talk about absentee Normie.
All right, I can admit to being technologically challenged (a nicer way of saying slightly retarded) and I still can't multi-quote. What is the matter with me?? The instructions were in the deleted thread so I can't even refer to them there. Last time I will play the dumb girl card and ask for help!! Please take pity on my sad, sorry self. :) I'll give you a Toffifee........

Hi CC> You are too funny. OK, here is another one:

A farmer is on his way to the market place to sell a goat, wolf, and large piece of cabbage. He has to cross a large river on his way there. He has a boat to cross the river but the boat is only large enough to carry one of the three (goat, wolf, cabbage), and himself at a time.

How does he cross all 3 of them without having one eat the other. ie, if he crosses with the wolf first, the goat will eat the cabbage. If he crossses with the cabbage, the wolf will eat the goat.

NOTE: The wolf won't eat the cabbage.

Okay, my guess would be to put the cabbage in the boat with you and have the goat and the wolf swim with the boat. I'm not certain about this one - but that is my final answer. Drak, can I have a cookie??? Fee, am I close? LOL
