Oh my sweet ILC, you always make me feel good. So happy to hear about your baby. I was wondering if you had a new baby but didn't want to pry. He sounds like a sweetheart who fills your heart with love...I'm so happy for you.

We have four babies now. I miss my Paws every day but know he would want others to feel the love. I'll try to post some pics for you soon!

Wow! Lots of April birthdays here. Happy B-day ILC and Sentinel (you got a cake from Fed and Sidney Crosby? Lucky!). Mine was the 22nd.

    Happy Belated birthday!

Holy crappola.....a heat wave on the east coast. Had to turn the ac on yesterday,,,,I was dripping.....or rather, glistening. Poor little Snuggles was stretched out staring up at me from his blankie, rolled onto his back and meowed...."Mom, I'm hot"

Came to the Bistro to bring some goodies from the kitchen. My Beloved is on his annual trip to gay Paree so the ceiling fan is empty. The market is full of lovely fresh Spring veggies so I whipped up a batch of my famous veggie couscous. Fresh peas (so amazing), fresh baby zucchini, Leaks, red and orange peppers, Vidalia onions......all organic and lovely. With fresh thyme and with/or without feta cheese, it's a wonder. I made a huge batch for all to enjoy. Sorry no eggplant, but Senti, I know you'll love it. Just finished making a huge pot of chili. My neighbor and I are planning on enjoying her big shady patio with cocktails on Friday afternoon and thought a big bowl of turkey and white bean chili would be a nice touch. It's yummy now, but in 2 days it'll be even better.

Well time to get up off my butt and continue gathering gently used no longer used things for a charity pick up tomorrow,

    Later my wonderful Bitro peeps
    ILC

The lemur appreciates ILC's fresh vegetables and cooking. LPV sets the ceiling fan to hyper-spin to cool off, while I enjoy a bowl of the veggie couscous and a pint of Stolichnaya.

OK, so where are the most recent postings? The new format is gone from my screen, but so are the most recent posts. This is a job for LPV!

I agree. One of the few times I actually have news to share and it has disappeared. I want my meal for free and toss in a dessert or two!

Whatever we posted in the new forum is lost.

If they had warned us, I could have saved some threads as PDF files.

    Anyway, ...

The veg couscous is great, ILC.

    Thanks.

You'll still get a free pedicab ride from me, gal! Bachelorette parties are my specialty! I'm guessing the Scottish lass will be maid of honor so she rides for free too. Of course she's use to fun rides on the ceiling fan! Dedans can ride too!

Just couldn't let this go to page 3.

CC's visits are always on the house....afterall, there would be no Bistro without her!

The lemur is sending a text saying "Well done!" to Lucie, and is quietly concerned about facing Serena. LPV is sound asleep on the bar and I am jealous.

Yes, they do! The guys, they just like to get there.

I imagine the crowd around me at the Bistro will hang on every word after my sureshsian tour of I-Drive. I may install a Go-Pro to record this historic event.

My little boy Snuggles is sympatico with LPV and is sound asleep on top of the loveseat behind me.

Trying to decide what to make for dinner while desperately trying to help Andy pull this match out over Nole. Think it may be a long afternoon.

I walk into the Bistro and there is a very herbal smell. The lemur is blowing smoke rings as he spins around on the ceiling fan, and it is not tobacco smoke.

I ask, "Where's Dedans and why are you on his ceiling fan?"

The lemur responds, "I don't know. Maybe he is partying with the Senator. Marloes sent a care package from Amsterdam; do you want some?"

    "That's alright, Mr. Lemurov."

I grab a bottle of Stolichnaya and catch a cab back to my Bistro City hotel.

Haggis, if you want Sir Andy to triumph.:)

Or maybe just fish n chips, washed down with single malt.

Haggis isn't in the cards today. I only indulge when I'm in dear old Alba. It's not as nasty as people think.

P...U....what is that smell? Why does the lemur look more stoned than usual? I see LPV and Dedans spinning around on the fan together. Think I'll pour myself a nice Italian red and head to the kitchen.

Mr kumquat might be emitting that odor...he's been sprayed while in tribute to sureshs and got all wet! I won't stand near the fan while he's under that influence.

That lemur is on awesome little critter. Well-read, funny as all hell and can tell a joke (and pound Stoli shots) with the best of 'em!

The lemur is wearing his Warriors gear, and playing basketball with Marloes Horst and Elsa Hosk on the Bistro courts. I run out to join them.

I ask, "How about the lemur and I against you two?"

Marloes and Elsa agree, and then beat us 21-0. Marloes and I then lose 21-0 to Elsa and the lemur, before Marloes and the lemur beat Elsa and me 21-0. I go back to the Bistro bar and order a pint of Stolichnaya.

Natalia Vodianova is stretching for a run. I ask if I can join her, but she just laughs and joins Sentinel for a jog.

The lemur and LPV are doing maintenance work on the ceiling fan, to match the upgraded standards of the forum. I sneak into CC's office and order a few more cases of Stolichnaya, then go to the bar and ask for a pint of Stolichnaya, a bowl of dill pickles, and slices of dark rye with wild mushroom spread.

You hope to have a quiet evening sipping your Stolichnaya, but every 7 seconds get an alert from the upgraded forum that Senti or Tom have replied to or liked your post.

That's a nice touch for The Bistro...serve the brews in tennis cans instead of steins!

Well, doh! I prefer bottles but if you serve a draft, don't pour it into a beer can...the tennis ball can, if washed and chilled might be cute!

Hard to believe that time flies so fast... Here is my daughter Emma - hitting a forehand in 2007 and 2015... Hard to believe she'll be 18 in half a year. Ah well. Here's a toast (gives out tennis cans full of beer to everyone around) to youth!
