Only the best my friend, as well as libations and conversation. What is on your mind today and I'll get you some apps and a drink to loosen your tongue. :)

Wait until the animals go to sleep and then bring them over there. Speaking of going to sleep, I take it this isn't an Amsterdam style cafe. Maybe one drink then, and I'll be on my way.
Tanqueray and tonic, extra lime if you get a chance.

hey CC - regarding your statement about 80's brat pack flicks (in another thread)... so, are they 'vintage/retro' for you or actual memories of seein' em on the big screen?

Maybe you could help[ me out if you're anywhere near Humboldt County? Are the Northern Lights bright in the early evening sky tonight?

I was in my early teens for most of them and watched them so many times I have about 8 movies memorized line-by-line to this day. Very clever way of asking my age I must say. LOL ;)

As for the Amsterdam room - yes, it's very hush-hush as people still have not accepted it for what it is - grass. Nothin' more and nothin' less. Point of interest - the native Canadians used to smoke a combo of "grass" and buffalo dung to achieve their high. Unfortunately that goes against the health regulations in this bistro. Up the stairs and take the second door to the right. Follow the haze. HAha. Yes, we are way more relaxed up here than most Floridians (I remember your last post).

I'm about five or six hours away from Humboldt, sorry. Don't think we get the Northern Lights effect in any part of California do we?

Any name for that herb/dung combo?
I had to make a run north of the boarder tonight precisely because that conservative, Floridian mentality was weighing on me. Merci pour l'asile, but let me not complain too much about this state: I will be making my tennis debut on a grass court tomorrow, versus a hard-hitting Swedish bud:p

Merci C'est gentil. He's very strong and very fast. When I first met him he had two ripped up ligaments in his knees. Now he's better:-o
Played him a week ago, he's probably between 4.0 and 4.5 NRTP (???) USTA(???) hits hard, runs down everything, serves with huge top, beat me 6-4, with me playing near my best. That was clay; tomorrow is grass in Miami. Didn't order the Barricade IV grass courters they sell at TW yet, but neither has he. Thisnk I'll try to sneak in there in my footjoys :)
Seriously, I've been watching and reading this forum for a long time. There really needs to be a private-match-result/what happened-today-on-the-court- thread. We talk about our match and our opponents, tell what went right, what went wrong, seek advise...:?:

Oh, you don't want to get me started on Depp or Samantha Mathis - as I feel they are more than just a little responsible for what happened that night. :)

That sounds like a good idea (I would participate once the snow melts). Have you run the idea past the Admin staff yet??

no doubt - but i'm sure the guilt must rack him. probably part of what drove him in to such seclusion.... ??? but i don't know any of the details. but it's kind of like surviving a tornado or plane crash or hurricane - you wonder why are you still here? but i tend to over-think things. ;)

I have put way too much time in reading about it and thinking about it when it happened. My boyfriend was less than thrilled about it. LOL.

No indoor courts chez toi? C'est pas marrant.
Admin staff? No! I once had around 70 posts, but about 40 disappeared (probably rightfully so) along with a signature (not cool:confused: ).

You have to make 4 trips.

Trip one, take the goat over and leave him there alone.
Trip two, take the cabbage over and bring the goat back.
Trip three, leave the goat behind, bring the wolf.
Trip four, take the goat over to join the wolf and the cabbage.

Damn Fee..I was so close. I kept thinking about taking the cabbage first and then the wolf, but figured the wolf would eat the goat while I was away. Never even thought of the return possibility. Thanks, I have no idea whose skirt Drak is floating under but it's very wrong of him to leave me hanging. lol

Nope, no indoor courts in my city - the closest one is a two hour drive away on icy highways. Hmmm....that's curious, eh?

Why do raincoats have to be drycleaned?

Okay, so is it CanadianChic (pronounced sheek, like stylish/hip/chic) or is it pronounced chick like young chicken/young bird?

OR is the ambiguity part of the chic-ness?

Hey ladies (Fee and CC) and everyone!
Fee, I gladly accepted your invitation to stop by the cafe ;-) I wasn't around the boards for some time, didn't feel like it, but now I'm back and right in the middle of the most boring period at TW (boring in terms of tennis I mean). Guess it's good we have a place to hang while waiting for AO ;-)

Since I'm new here...for now I'll just have a cold Guinness and try to blend in with the crowd
    Cheers!
