It's pretty common knowledge around here, also you can get beggers to buy you alcohol if you share. ;)

Okay, she'll be a traveller here Volt. Do you really want her running through the underground ID market or asking a beggar to split a bottle with her?

So I take it that none of us hit the 390 Million dollar jackpot lottery....
I heard a truck driver from Georgia was one of the 2 big winners....I think that's cool....somebody that deserves it...lucky dude....of course, you have to play to win and I don't play so I don't win :(
Snowed all day long...just powder though...not too bad....looked worse than it was. We're going below freezing again tonight though so all of the water will be ice in the morning and our wonderful drivers will be sliding all over the place. They're calling for the 60's next week....wacko weather!!
Is there any coffee left? No? I'll make a pot...be right back....ahhhhhhhh
a little godiva added and .....yumm...feels better already. Looking forward to tennis on TV next week!!! WooHoo!

I'm not saying it's a good thing to do, I'm just saying it happens far too often. :(

And if you do, you have to pay me for it (with all the money you get from posting here, obviously).

I'm out the door, driving down to IW (four hours, Motel 6, then another four hours in the AM). I think I will make it in time for Justin's match. Perhaps I'll check in at some point over the weekend, if I can.

    Behave denizens!

Have a great time Fee, and drive safe. I'll be checking in on the scores when I get a chance this weekend, but look forward to the rundown when you get back!! :)

Enjoy your trip Fee, if anyone wants, I posted a little link to a satirical movie in the Jesus thread. It's kinda funny, and it will probably cause a flame war over nothing.

Yep. He played Davis Cup for Sweden in 1975 (together with some other unknown guy named Björn Borg).

Umm... I didn't exactly win... But it was close! I only lost 2-6, 1-6!

    Tournament results so far (finals for the HS35, HS65, HS70 and HD65 classes (H = Men, S = Singles, D = Doubles):

    http://www.atvid-tk.org/tavling/gubbaspelen/2007/klasser/hs35/

Time for a beer and to start loading up for next weekends dual league matches (we play one team on Saturday and another on Sunday).

Bjorn who? Oh never mind...A drink for Peter please...on me...anything he wants :) A drink also is waiting for our dear Fee when she comes back....not a sympathy drink, but a "yeah, I know...it sucks..." drink....anything she wants. A drink for Oscar too...he should be a happy Peruvian tennis babe now....yes, I'll have a drink myself please, she says smiling :)
Just get through this next round and....oh crap...you'll play Mr Fed...oh well...I'll be happy for the time being...just hope that the giant Hingis head will not be watching the next match...it could scare Carlos...it would scare me.

    Empty...

That empty feeling when your tournament has been finished and almost completely wrapped up... Now I just have to send in the tournament report to the Swedish Tennis Federation, and write an economical report to my club, and send in a note to the local newspaper and it's 100% done.

I think it's time for a scotch. Umm.. a Talisker if I may?

    Heellooooo? Bartender?? Where's my scotch?

Umm.. Perhaps I should get to bed instead. But then it'll be Monday soon and I'll have to get to work. A well...

The Bistro is a magical place, just clap your hands twice and your drink appears in front of you.

I'm home, I'm beat, I'm grubby, and I'm stunned about some of these results today (I was on the road all day driving back). I will write more, but can I just say that I love Justin to death and it warmed my heart to hear Tommy Haas say to me 'where have you been?' when he saw me (last time I saw him was USO 2005).

    Gah, I need a shower...

Aw Peter, have a mimosa....some lovely champagne with freshly squeezed orange juice...that'll put a skip in your step and that former Davis Cupper will be dazzled by your display of foot work :)

Hmm.. Sounds like a drinkable ... drink.

    Argh! I'm angry!
Not tennis-related though. Work-related. Stupid management (not my departmental management, the university top management). I feel like I wanna hit something. Hard. Hmm.. Perhaps that was why I was bombing in serves and groundstrokes yesterday...

Bucks Fizz as in deer ****? I like the term. My dad used to wear this terribly embarrassing hat around at parties that consisted of two long straws that ran from two drinks attached to the hat and read "Ye old panther ****" on the front. He usually had screwdrivers going from it - ahhh, what a delight. Memories, eh?

Okay. I'm glad you are a frequent customer in the bistro and I truly enjoy your posts so as long as you come in here to play I'm happy. Although I did notice on the Recommend me some Music thread that you said you like Bryan Adams - too bad he's Canadian. Something like that. Ouch!! Canadians rock DS, and I know where you can see him when you go to Van. Wink, wink, nod, nod. :)
