CAP grommets roughly weigh between 10-12grams more than your typical bumper and grommet, depending on who you ask. But.....

For anyone who has CAP'd their racquet, any 'guess'-timations as to how your swingweight and balance have changed????

The bumpers on the the top of the hoop cancel out. The extra 10-12grams of difference between CAP's and other grommets are distributed from the 2&10 o'clock positions of the frame, which would not affect the swingweight as much if that extra weight was at 12.

Just curious from anyone who has done this before or has any insight.

Thank you and Tod bless (my religion prohibits me from using the creators name) :)

I used the customization worksheet to do this one time. To simulate the addition of the CAP, I added the following:

    *4 grams @ 18 inches
    *4 grams @ 15.75 inches
    *4 grams @ 20.25 inches

The swingweight on my racquet increased by ~12. (343.60 to 355.57)
