He was such a huge influence for Henin, my favorite player, almost like a father figure. And I was so happy to see him with Li Na, and has obviously made a huge difference in her game and more importantly her mentality. And both of them speak very fondly of him.

    Lots of respect for him.

Techinique wise, Henin is the best female player of all time on my book. Perfect really.

Seems like the new coach is really working out for her.

I've always wondered how much Rodriguez could be credited for Henin's backhand. Her backhand was so "argentine".

To be honest, I wondered how they would match up. She is very strong-willed and her game is quite basic (but wonderfully effortless when on). It seems their partnership is more remarkable for the calmness she is displaying on court, than any game-changing tips. During on-court coaching, he even asks her 'How do you feel?', something I've never seen any one else do.

His real talent may not be what he tells them; but that he gets them to buy in. She's not doing anything earth shatteringly different - just executing better.

Hard to believe Roddick's 1st coach Tarik Benebiles (sp?) didn't tell him to work on his BH (and volleys - and conditioning). Took Connors and Stefanki to finally get the message across.

Has she altered any of her strokes under his watch?

Her forehand. Not drastically, but just creating a little more margin with higher net clearance and spin. Plus, getting her in the mindset to not to try to rip a forehand winner before she has a good opportunity.
