I'm going to have to say neither.. Though the Genius, in my opinion, are nice hard court shoes, they are definitely narrow. Feathers are meant more for clay courts. If you're willing to spend in this general price range, I'd say go for a pair of Barricades or CageII or Court Ballistic 1.3 that are on sale.

Online or in store? If in store, I highly suggest your try the Genius on for yourself. If online, please email me at spnutball405@aol.com w/ the place. But again, I say look elsewhere if what you listed is what you're looking for.

The price difference is much less than the doctor appointment you'll need after using narrow shoes on wide feet. I'd suggest the Barricade. I loved the Genius overall, and it's a good hardcourt shoe, but it was too narrow for even my medium width feet. Much pain ensued. The Feathers aren't ideally suited to hard court punishment at all in terms of durability and support, so unless you don't need the cushioning/support at all, I'd pass on them for hard court. Also, if you slide as described you'll eat them up fast. And they're built on a fairly narrow last anyway.
