I have always played with the Microgel Extreme with the grip size at 4 3/8. It's too small so I've always added 2 overgrips to bulk it up. Would it make more sense to just buy the racquet in a bigger grip size? I've heard to always stick with what you've been doing (stick with the 3/8 and add overgrips) since thats what i'm accustomed to, but I was curious if anyone else had a different opinion. Thanks!

if you go up a grip size with a head racquet, the grip will probably be closer to your desired size without having to constantly replace the two overgrips. however, head grips tend to be more square so it definitely won't be as round as when you had the two overgrips on it.

ask your stringer or pro shop to put a heat shrink sleeve on it. it's like 10 bucks and raises the grip size by 1/8. also you can razor blade it right off if you don't like it.
