Hey guys, my bro cracked his old prostaff surge X and desperately needs a modern racquet that can replace the prostaff surge x. He's a 4.0, plays doubles and volleys. He has had some elbow problems in the past.

    Please and Thank you

Isn't the Prostaff Surge a Modern racquet? Anyway, in Wilson look at the

Npro Open, Nblade, Nsurge X. Note; that the Ncode Surge is a good deal

more powerful than the Perostaff Surge. If your brother would want to go

for a lower powered racquet try the N6.1 95 I would suggest the 16x18

    version but I am s***ing a 18x20 for cheap (sfrazeur@sbcglobal.net)

Stay away from the nPro Surge and Surge X. Wilson screwed up when creating these frames. Too stiif, underpowered and will beat your arm to pulp.

The new nOpen and nOpen X are very good frames and worthy sucessors to the old PS Surge and Surge X. In fact they are better. I guess Wilson got enough complaints on the nPro Surges they went back to the drawing board.
