This phone search for the number showed up that he has 3 addresses(Corona, San Jose and Morgan Hills) and 6+ relatives(maybe using the same plan or something). But you had to pay 5 bucks to see the details.

    A sheep dog too!!! Excellent!!!

I get the feeling this guy is acting like a kind of broker, taking another persons for sale post and posting it as his own then doing more deals around what he needs to complete the first one. Was gonna say I wonder how he makes money from it but he clearly just keeps and sells what he likes rather than charge a brokerage fee!

Wish I could remember why I know the name...

have you ever met a vietanese NOT named nguyen? charles is somewhat common too.

maybe that's also why he gets away with this. to hard to track, b/c there are hundreds with the same name... although, in this case you all seem to be on the trail of the right guy.

Check this out. From the description, this must be the stuff Topspin Man was supposed to be sent in return for his Wilson frames.

The yahoo address for reply is the same as the bay seller name (jhuttepain) of the guy selling the stolen racquets on the bay.
    Item 200238685399

This is the ad on LA Craigslist.

I have 4 Microgel Extreme that is in used condition 8/10, if you buy all 4 Extreme i will include a 12 racket tennis bag for free, additional i give you 3 grommet, these racket is currently strung with Luxilon Big Banger alu Power hybrid with sythenic gut. i located in LA, you can email me and set a time where we can meetup sale these racket.

    email me at jhuttepain@yahoo.com

    NEED TO SALE FAST

    These guy(s) are really something.

Topspin Man you should contact the guy on the bay and tell him he is selling rackets that were stolen from you. Although there is a good chance he is aware of that fact. His bay feedback is great so why he would knowingly involve himself with thieves is hard to understand.

Mike Lam over at tennis meetup page says he likes Magic the Gathering. Ok seems pretty innocuous. Now if you followed the signature which I linked to, the album name is brainxfrozen. Google that name and lots of juicy things turn up. Check this link -- a brainxfrozen on a Magic the Gathering forum..humm.

    http://forum.tcgplayer.com/showthread.php?t=13719
    http://forum.tcgplayer.com/showthread.php?t=18926

On that page if you check brainxfrozen profile his birthdate is December 9, 1989

Ok, here is another link with magic the gathering with a profile for icexkami. AIM handle icexkami. This is definitely him. His email brainxfrozen@yahoo.com

    http://forums.magictraders.com/ubbmisc.cgi?action=getbio&UserName=icexkami

Also a brainxfrozen talking about tennis here last post down:

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...=1006032312904&show=7#profile-info-AA10981352

"I use a Flexpoint Prestige at 58 with gamma tnt 17"

Brainxfrozen or icexkami is very likely Michael Lam.

Being Vietnamese as well, I can't believe how bad this Charles Nguyen character is making the Vietnamese race look. Princegod posted some pictures of puppies, I'm getting pretty hungry... Such a shame if something happened to his dogs.

wow, this is all overwhelming support guys

i feel like i have my own detectives =)

    cheers once again guys

so after putting all the clues together, i get the feeling that charles and mike are the same people

this mike character is getting pretty shifty as well no doubt cause a few times i have called him, he has denied he was charles (he also claimed that he did not know any charles)

which is absolutely incorrect because we all know that he does

furthermore, it is a very shifty that his username and also flyer also utilises the same pics that charles had on his craigslist

i have both of these scumbags address

    Charles Ng

    3246 Cortona Dr
    San Jose, CA 95135

    and Mike Lam

    3050 Everdale Drive
    San Jose, CA

furthermore - it seems that my kfactors that were stolen are clearly on **** yet the problem is that icant do anything about it given i am too far away from the situation - any of you guys can help, please do

our initial instincts were right - they were mine and everything lines up

also - if anybody could, please call the cops on these people
i have their emails, phone numbers and address

    thanks guys

Ohh BTW, Mike Lam is not listed as a friend of Charles anymore at tennis meetup. They are removing info again as they are reading this page. Even the greetings are gone.

Here is at least a screen of the greetings before he removed.

Topspin, as the victim of fraud, you would have to contact the SJ Police Dept and file a complaint. You could also file a complaint with your local police and they should contact the SJ police for you. It is as much an Aussie crime as it is a US crime.

Even in Australia, you should be able to contact the bay and try to have the auction shut down. Go to the bottom of the auction page and click on report this item, follow that through the believe item is stolen, write your description of events, and tell them you are filing charges with the police. They might shut down the auction if your description is believable.

Maybe one of the people here will be kind enough to open a new account on the bay and win the auction and just sort of forget to pay. ;o)

The rackets, bag and grommets you were supposed to receive in trade are now on sale on LA craigslist by the same dude that has your stolen frames on the bay. (See post # 121) I wonder if he knows they are stolen. He might be doing someone a favor and be unaware of the history. Or he might be up to his arse in this mess. ;o)

If you want to get inventive about paybacks, you could use one of the many search services on the internet and get their Social Security numbers and post them daily on the LA and SF Craigslist. Identity theft is a big problem in California because of all the illegal aliens. Someone with their real names, addresses, phone numbers and SS numbers could certainly make their lives a living hell.

Next time be a little more careful who you deal with, mate.

Maybe Charles will grow a brain and decide it is in his interests to send you what he was supposed to send you and not deal with the hassle of potentially being arrested for fraud, etc. His name is ruined. Anyone who does an internet search for him will see this for years to come.

just contacted the cops in australia and they said they cant really do much given that they cannot go and investigate the situation and the fact that it happend in america

however, he did say that he would go and try to contact the police department over there

i gave them emails, contat numbers, addresses, aliases, everything in this thread basically

so i'd watch out, if you are watching - charles, mike and jhuttepain

the head extremes on craigslist has also been taken down

yeah i guess i dont think ill be doing any more trades within the us without heavy and respectable references

i too believe that they should hand themselves in

if they dont, the day i do go over to the states - ill drop in and say hello =) i know both of their addresses and i will hunt them down

If you google charles nguyen or the email address you get an archive listing of all his for sale posts on TT. The list of for sale posts at TT and the list of rackets on that flyer are ridiculously similar, in fact almost identical. Would suggest either those are one and the same guy or at least know each other/work together.

i think my general hunch is that they are 2 different people but at the same time, it is weird.

i called up the address (cortona drive address) and a girl picked up saying that she has no brothers, and that she lives with her parents and her sister

i have their address, also i have mike lam's address

i do believe that they are two different people - just helping each other to scam

so at the moment, i am pretty confused but i am still intent on hunting these dodgy *******s down and bringing them to justice - if not, give them hell atleast

would be great if everybody on these forums that live in america - could call both mike and charles numbers and tell them off for being scam artist and tell them to send my racquets OR even my money back atleast, due to their criminal offences

    thanks guys

After taking his ad down last night, the items that were allegedly to be sent to Topspin Man in trade are back on sale in LA Craigslist by the same guy who is selling the allegedly stolen Wilsons on the bay. jhuttepain

4 microgel extreme 12 racket bag, and 3 grommet cheap cheap cheap - $300 (LA)

This is all pretty weird. The only J Huttepain in LA is a 40 something adult male so unless his kid is using his bay account, it is hard to understand his involvement. The guy's bay record is perfect on about 90 deals. He would not appear to be someone who is likely to be involved in a racket scam. For the record, bay seller JHuttepain claims complete ignorance of any stolen rackets. He says that rackets are his and he doesn't understand what is going on. But since the rackets for sale on the bay seem to be identical to the ones Topspin Man claims were stolen and the items that Topspin Man claims were to be traded appear in LA Craigslist for sale by J Huttepain and appear to be the exact same ones that were offered for sale by Nguyen (Ng) and Lam in SF and SJ (and by Nguyen on TW), it seems evident he is somehow involved, perhaps unwittingly. A very strange coincidence otherwise. Something doesn't add up here.

    Calling Sherlock Holmes, over.

Hopefully the police will figure it all out.

Has anyone visited the house? I would purposely go and let them see you in the street photographing the cars, mailbox, house etc. Draw some attention so someone will ask. Most likely the home owners would not appreciate their moron child drawing suspicious activity around their house. If all else fails find the local Bandidos in the area and have them park out front until the racquets get turned over. That would provide quicker results than a detective....lol

Can anyone make a closed/locked webpage where we can discuss this?

That way we can keep our findings away from Charles.

Or, how about somebody creates a password protected website? I don't know of any discussion places that this is readily accessable (apart from downloading the Halo demo), but that's not really possible here. I'll do a quick search...

I actually got an idea that MIGHT work. Topspin Man- create a Facebook group and have it closed. You can email anybody that's applied to this thread and ask them for their facebook info. Invite them to the group, and then you have a closed place where you can discuss stuff.

Short of playing OJ goes to Vegas, realistically, Topspin Man can only do so much at this point.
He messed up when he agreed to this trade.

File a police report in Australia and file reports in San Jose and Los Angeles. Contact the carrier you shipped with and get any delivery confirmation info. Did anyone sign for the delivery? If so, they are in possession of stolen goods and get to be an accessory to the crime. Also find out if they used USPS as the delivery agent. Mail fraud, wire fraud are Federal crimes. (Internet scams are wire fraud.) Contact the bay and request the auction be stopped as the items are stolen.

Contact the buyer if the auction goes through and advise him the rackets are stolen and refer him to this thread. Perhaps one of your buddies here can sabotage the auction by winning it and then stiffing the seller.Try getting a hold of an adult at the delivery address and tell them what happened. I smell bratty kids. Appropriately trash the parties involved on the TW Ref section (I think you can check this one off as DONE.) Everyone is warned. Thanks for letting us know.

Charles, Mike, Ho Chi Minh, J Huttepain, or whoever you are, why don't you contact Topspin Man, apologize profusely, claim insanity, and either ship him the rackets you probably can't safely sell now anyway, or reimburse him for the Wilson's you stole. You tried to pull a fast one, you've been thoroughly busted. Just make amends as best you can and cut your losses. That would be the smartest thing to do.

i dont know if my facebook, because anyone can easy have access to that infomation. it would be better if we talk through email. just have a link of everyone email and talk through there, one thing is nguyen or lam can monitor this thread anymore, and that everyone who is on this hunt can get new update from topspin or anyone currently on this thread.

LOL still don't understand why Uncle Ho got into this but that what you should do if you don't thing to get out of hand until a point of no return.

this is the final warring onbehalf of Topspin.

to make everyone cool down abit, just give Topspin his racket back, cancle your bay account, and say sorry for everything you have done.

I think if Topspin get his stuff back he wont deal anymore damage to you or your friend.

i will do whatever it takes

if you guys are willing to go through this password protected website, then i am more then happy to inolve myself

once again i would like to show my appreciation to the mass members on these boards for their overwhelming support

together, we will hunt these guys down

so it seems that the three stooges are in on the scam - nguyen, lam and J Huttepain

also - should i change my name to those 3 being scam artists and not only charles nguyen? just to give everybody a heads up

I stopped by Charles Nguyen's alleged residence today afternoon.
A woman responded from behind closed door and denied ever knowing any Charles Nguyen living there.
I know she's lying but there's nothing else for me to do.
Topspin, you need to call SJPD and report this.
