    I am getting sick of reading cheesy atp headlines, such as this one:

    Dolgopolov, Falla, Hutchins Learn To Bake Cookies In Kuala Lumpur

    Does it really deserve to make the front page of a professional sport website?

    Wow, big news, tennis players learn to bake some gluten free cookies!

    What next?

    Isner and Olivier Rochus Learn to Tap Dance and Play Hoola Hoop ?

    I get a lot of cheesy headlines here in Indian newspapers. But the silly ones are when they say "X crashes out in semi-final/QF" etc. This goes for any loss anyone has, in tennis, badminton boxing, etc.

    The telly ticker during the Olympics used to keep showing people "crashing out" as though it was car racing or as though they actually had a chance to go further.

    Imagine if you saw "Donald Young crashes out to Federer in R1 of USO" on American telly. Duh !

    Well, one headline is not a convincing data point. You need to come up with many to justify your anger.

    I assume this is the article you're talking about;

    You wake up in the wrong trashcan this morning?

    Still better than the WTA website featuring a photo gallery of the Baghdatis-Sprem wedding as one of their top stories last week.

    I just wish they would stop calling Dolgopolov "The Dog".

    Nope, I woke up on my own bed in a luxurious hotel in Bangkok and ready to have a hit of tennis and want to see some ATP tennis the whole week.

    P.S. don't forget to wash your stinky trash can and have a wash yourself. It seems amazing that someone in this world considers trash can as a bed. You look hideous in that picture, really.

    It's whatever, tennis is an individual sport so stuff like this is probably posted to keep people who follow players closely off court interested. Besides, if you don't like these articles don't bother reading/clicking.

    Perhaps the newspaper editor is in a tight deadline and he or she is running out of words so decided to use the word "crash out" for everything, instead of using "bundled out", "knocked out", etc. That Federer one shuld be "Federer crushed Donald to pieces to advance to the second round of USO":twisted:
