    Anybody know the area well?

Are there good tennis facilities and players in the area?

Got an interested college in the area enquiring after me.

One tennis coach of a local college has said recently that a lot of his college team earn considerable money through coaching at the numerous tennis venues in the area of Chicago North Shore.

Just wondering if any of you guys out there know that local tennis scene and can make an informed comment.

Also if any of you know the college mentioned above and have a point of view?

Try Midtown tennis club in chicago, they employ Division 1 players and formal touring pros. and also Northshore racket club in northbrook, College park athletic club in Bannockburn, Heritage tennis club in arlington heights, Northbrook racket club in northbrook.

There is a pretty active north shore tennis scene; in fact, there's a USTA tournament hosting around up there.

Lake Forest is in my old academic conference; it's a chance to play tennis in college is what it boils down to. The teaching stuff sounds likely.

It's a good liberal arts college; go there, and then pick up a graduate business degree and you'll do well. Some good Chicago connections.
