was not hard to look at, by any means.

I watched a WITC match of hers against Goolagong from 1975 last night. Had a hard time reconciling the baby-faced young woman I saw vs. the tiring veteran I watched in person against Graf and Navratilova in 1986.

Evert was always well-spoken in victory or defeat. I miss her (although I don't miss her NBC telecaster performances).

Too bad she's not as good a publisher as she was a tennis player.

    You're probably just kidding, right?

Most likely she's just a figurehead to lend her name to the magazine. I seriously doubt Chris Evert performs a true publisher's role...It's a demanding profession with few openings, after all. Presumably Evert makes a few suggestions as to content, and the "Associate Publisher" does all of the real work.

You know when the commentator (can't remember if it was Pancho or Chris) said that last night, I kept thinking Chris? (and she wasn't bad looking) what about Evonne!!!!! Man, when she was on tour, I thought she was the end all.
