Chris from TW, a question

Discussion in 'TW Questions/Comments' started by legkickbackhand, Dec 11, 2004.

  1. Chris,
I've read in the TW reviews that you use a one-handed backhand. Do you use a traditional Eastern or Continental grip or a full Eastern grip (a la Henin or Guga). Also, do you use a dampener on your RDX mid? Where have you added lead to it? Thanks in advance.

I use an almost full eastern grip on my backhand.
I do not like the feel or the sound I get when using a dampener and almost never use one on any racquet. I think the RDX 500 feels much better without one.
I have added lead almost the length of the bumper guard - from 10 - 2. I added 1/4 inch lead tape till the racquet felt right and then only measured specs to match my racquets. I don't recall the exact spec, but they are a little under 13 ounces with a swingweight around 345.
