Hi Chris! I asked this in the other Tfight thread but I think it got buried. Do you have any thoughts on how the Tfight 315 ltd 16 compares to the Bio Max200G? I play the Bios but am thinking about demoing the Tfight. Thanks in advance!

The TFight 16 mains is the closest in feel as it gets somewhat closer to the feel of the Dunlop. I would say the feel from the Dunlop is smoother and softer with the TFight feeling more crisp and precise. Power and spin is pretty equal and I think it is going to come down to which feel you prefer. If you like the Max 200G, then I think demoing the TFight is well worth your time.

    Hope that helps,
    Chris, TW

    Old School Rackets

Does the Tfight 315 Ltd. have the feel of the old school rackets like the Volkl C10 Pro 98 or more of the Head PC600?

Not really. It plays lighter and faster -- more Blade like in its response than Prestige or C10.

While it has a nice flex and good feel, it is not silky smooth like an old PC600 or PP600. It feels a tad snappier and responsive, rather than plush.

How do the new Tfights compare with the pre VO2 Tfights?

They are very comparable to the VO2 frames. Some of them you will now note are TP (Tour Prepared) and have silicone in the handle. Otherwise, the frames are unchanged (since pre VO2).

The new TFight 315 fits right in there and if you like the feel and response of other TFights, you like this one.

Hey TW, do you know if the TFight will come packed with a dampener? My Dunlops did and I am just curious. I don't want to order new ones if the racquets will come with one.

TW, I'm confused. Is the Tecnifibre T-Fight 315 with 16 mains come in a string pattern of 16x19 or 16x18? In the review of the T-Fight 315 18x20, Andy mentions his comparison to the 16x18? Which pattern is it? Even in the Tecnifibre website it states that the open pattern is 16x18. So which is the correct string pattern for the T-Fight 315 16M? =)

Ditto on the confusion. Several sites including TW competitors and Tecnifibre themselves list a standard TFight 315 (not called a Limited). This racquet is listed as a 16x18. However all of the pictures, including the one on Tecnifibre's website, show a racquet that is called 315 Limited and is a 16x19. I asked this in another thread:

    Is there a 315 and a 315 Limited??

I need to know as this may change what I am pre-ordering

The Tecnifibre 315 we have says LTD on the frame and is 16x19. In the review, Andy misspoke. We haven't received our stock yet. We'll try to clear this up for you as soon as we can. Sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks,
    Tiffani, TW

Thanks! I hope you guys have better luck getting questions answered with Tecnifibre than I have. Their new US distribution network and headquarters seems extremely disjointed right now. Nobody returns calls or emails.

This is probably one of the most confusing issues I can remember. I just got off the phone with Tecnifibre and even they don't have a clue. They say the 315 is offered in a 16x18 and 18x20 and don't know anything about a 315 Limited. However the Tecnifibre website CLEARLY shows a picture of the 315 Limited 16x19 under the TFight 315 listing. This is becoming a big enough headache to seriously make me consider cancelling my order as I have no idea what I am going to get!

    -Bobo-,
Yes. The TF 315 LTD 18x20 plays both a tad faster and crisper than the Dunlop. You'd need to spec up the TF with some tungsten or lead tape to get a closer match.

An interesting 3rd option would be the Dunlop F2.0 Tour. It is the heaviest of all, but most of the weight is under your hand (it is very head light) and the swingweight is pretty much identical to the Bio 200. The F2.0 Tour is 10 RA points stiffer than the Bio 200 so it plays even crisper and more responsive than the TF 315 LTD.

    Hope that helps,
    Chris, TW
