Where can I find clay courts in the Bay Area?
I live in Livermore which is located in the east bay.
    Thanks!

Someone here said there were two paid clay courts around Pleasanton. Private courts, but you can pay to play there.

    I believe that was Homecourt...
They went out of business recently.

    Anyone else know?

Well, there's 1 claycourt at the Indian Springs resort in Calistoga, and 2 at the Flora Vista Inn at La Selva Beach, south of Santa Cruz. You have to book a room at these places in order to play, though, and they're not cheap.

Call em up and find out. A friend of mine built em years ago. He even built a grass court there, but I think it's gone now.

The Olympic Club has two Har-Tru courts. It's an exclusive private golf country club. Maybe you could call up the pro and politely weedle your way on. Perhaps take a lesson or play in their annual
Senior Tournament and wander over to the clay for some practice.

A country club, either in Rocklin or Roseville, east of Sacto had red clay that you could play on for $10, but I havn't been by their for years and don't know if they still exist.

There are a number of clay courts and grass in SoCal/Palm Springs if you want to go that far.

My club in Mill Valley, has a "Classic Clay" court, which is artificial grass and sand that plays sorta' like clay and is fun in the rain.

Flora Vista Inn (Santa Cruz County) has two clay courts. Free to guests and their friends, hourly rates, too.
