I know there have been threads on this in the past, but the last one got away from the original intention a bit.

Does anyone know of any clay or har tru courts in San Francisco or the peninsula? It seems hard to believe that there isn't a club around Stanford that will allow non-members to try a court (for a fee/with a member?).

    Thanks!

Nope.......kinda the whole point of a private club is that's its private.

Olympia club has 2 HarTru but they do not allow "dropins" - some down past Santa Cruz and in Carmel at hotels -

I hear you. It would still be nice to know which clubs around the area have clay courts, however.

Where are they in the Santa Cruz-Carmel area? (I'm from the central coast)

In Santa Cruz the Flora Vista in (BnB) has Har Tru and Seascapes Sports Club has one Har Tru court in its complex.

In Carmel the Carmel Racquet Club has like 6 clay (ok har tru) courts and Carmel Valley Ranch Resort has a few.

We play at CRC on a regular basis and a great facility........give em a call and see if they allow "temp" memberships or non members to join clinics...etc if there on vacation.

    Thanks gavna!

I'm still surprised that I've never heard of one in the silicon valley.
