    That's a shame. I was looking forward to seeing Clement's swan song at the French.
    No doubt about it, he WILL be replaced by another young French up and comer These guys are usually very fun to watch.

    heh, Fed gets an easy first two rounds.

    LL in round 1 and winner of a qualifier vs. Gimelstob in the 2nd round. Fed ought to breeze into the 3rd round.

    Mary Pierce pulled out as well. The French aren't off to a good start. Looking for Andy Murray to send Gael Monfils packing in the first round too.

    Could be but Monfils has yet to do much in the majors. Not that Murray has but he's at least made a few inroads.

    Clement was waiting until the last second to see if he would be fit. He said before that he had maybe a 10% chance of playing. It was a story on the Roland Garros website earlier.
