    I think her comment about bagging the rest of the clay season could have been out of frustration. She needs to wait 48-72 hrs, assess the injury, then make a decision. It would be unfortunate - but injuries are a reality in the pro game - especially on the ladies side.

    Man, that would suck if she can't play at the French...

    Swelling in the knee doesn't sound good...

    I agree that the comment about skipping the clay season is probably made out of frustration - she is a two-time French Open finalist after all...

    those splits: your body pays for them. either the knees or the hips.

    Once again you are right. For me the splits ruined my groin, by the way. She is still young though and this being a fresh injury might not be serious. Thank God it wasn't her left wrist because a third time might be too much.
