Hi Clinton, I've been wondering about this, I hope you can help:

when a pro have a match scheduled on a day, say at 3pm.
At what time do they eat food? And what time do they start warmup, and how much warmup do they usually do? (eg, do they play a warmup set?)

    Thank you!

Can you put a video on youtube saying that Cl1introck on TW is really you? That way nobody will have doubt whether you're really the guy or not.

You got a nice backhand. You should really post these kinds of threads under tips/instruction or adult league and tournament.

Hey Clint, good to have you here.

Q: if you were given a chance to play against current #1 and #2, which one would you be your choice? And why.

It's pretty cool that there's a touring pro on these threads.

What's your best shot btw? And what's your equipment set up? I'm sure you use some kind of poly right?

Why not read what he has already taken the time to write? He already broke EVERYTHING down about his stick and that of Davydenko and Novak. Come on...The guy is kind enough to come here and share with us and we should be considerate enough to read what he writes instead of asking him for information he has already shared.

Hey clint thanks alot for your input on your equipment. I myself currently use the FXP prestige MP, and wanted to know if you use the stock Head shaped handle or do you change the pallets. I hear many pros and amateurs dislike the shape of the Head handles.

Furthermore, is SPPP the string choice you enjoyed best in this stick.

Thanks, and good luck with your rise up the rankings.

    Clint,

I have a question if you will take the time to answer it:

What is your physio like? Do you hit the weight room, run outside of tennis, etc? I noted one image on myspace showed you with a heart rate monitor. Do you hit with one or was that following a run?

I think that most of us get a ton of information here as to what the pros like you hit with and their equipment--but not many of us get insight as to the physical conditioning regime of a professional tennis player.

I, for one, would love to know any information you are willing to share in regards to fitness and workouts.

    Thanks in advance!

About making this a sticky, I share my fellow posters' excitement about having Clint around, but it would be understandable that the guy will get tired and drop the thread after a while, especially if he climbs up the rankings and begins to have a more hectic schedule (or if this thread keep attracting the kind of sad losers who have nothing to say but "you are not a slam winner, nyah nyah!" - if it was my forum you would have a ban stick up your posterior already, kids.)

Let's wait and see. If after a couple of months he keeps updating once or twice a week I'll be the first one to push for stickiness.

I noticed you had the same problems with the microgel prestige mp, its not nearly as good as the mid, it vibrates like crazy and has a really low swing weight, i bought it cause i thought it would be like the mid but with a bigger head size, i was sadly mistaken, so im back to using i prestiges and pt 630s

anyway let us know how you like the speed pro, we look forward to hearing about it

    Clint,

    1. What sort of restrictions are there on foreign players in the Bundesliga (number in a club, etc) ?

    2. How did you get to play there? Did you have to approach the club or were you recruited?

    3. Who does the recruiting of players ?

    4. How do you organise your individual playing schedule around club commitments ?

    5. What sort of benefits do you get, apart from the competition?

    6. What recommendations would you have for anyone who was interested in playing there?

Make that another request on physio work

Thanks for opening this thread, Clint.

I'd esp appreciate any stretching/strengthening work you do on your hitting shoulder/core to enhance flexibilty/strength on the backhand and follow through.

Also, any explosive movement drills you find helpful.

It looks like TW has a first celebrity!! lol

It's pretty cool that you're on here posting. Thanks for taking the time out to do so.

And remember, play in that challenger in Dublin in June and I'll come and watch ya play lol ;) Oh, and I just found out that Rod Laver won the Irish open in 1962!!! That is cool. He's the only famous male though. Loads of females, Billie Jean King twice, Margaret Court 4 times and Virginia Wade in 1970. 8)

Good luck with the first tournament.

I agree it will take some time. I would also mention that some people here have posted a question that has been asked three times already and already answered twice by Clint. We should ensure we read the thread thoroughly to see if our questions have been asked and answered by others already prior to filling this thread with a ton of questions that could cause the OP to get tired of the thread.

He's sharing valuable information with us--we need to ensure we read prior to posting redundant questions.
