Wow, that's a real interesting hire for pepperdine. One must wonder if the Brazilian contingency at Texas tech (I think they had six on the roster last year) will look to transfer now.

Non-starters possibly, starters seriously doubt it. Coaches move on, players understand. Transfer rates of starters from top level programs in top conferences has to be very low.

Correct, but anyone can see that Marcelo, not HC Siegel, was the reason those Brazilians made it to Lubbock in the first place.

Scott Kidd (Clemson women's assistant) hired as Troy men's head coach.
Believe me, Scott can recruit like a madman. He's not scared to go anywhere in the world and get a player. Good hire.

Ross Wilson, last year's asst. coach at University of San Diego, has taken the asst. coaching position at University of Iowa.

I don't know if two more opposite places exist in America.

Michael Lisac, formerly of Georgia State, has been named the new Head women's coach at West Virginia. Good hire for them.

Lisa Jackson is no longer the coach at UAB. Odd timing as she's only been there a little over a year and she brought in a strong recruiting class. Anyone know where she went?

Iowa's assistant last year looked like a football lineman, what happened to him where did he go? NFL?

He got fired. Apparently he wasn't so nice to his guys.
