Just starting another thread mostly to keep things about college club tennis fresh . . . there hasn't been a post in the old thread in a while.

Citrus Invitational started today in Syracuse: Penn State, Brown A, Syracuse, Villanova A, and Rutgers won their respective pools. Other teams represented: Cornell, Delaware (A & B), Colgate, Carleton (Ottawa), Pittsburgh (A & B), Lehigh, Drexel, Syracuse (B & C), Brown B, and Villanova B. I think Delaware A, Pittsburgh A, and Cornell are probably the three 2nd place teams to advance to the Championship bracket, but I still have to do the match.

I'll send another update after I'm done tomorrow if anyone's interested.

Penn State won in the final over Brown A. Villanova A and Syracuse A made the semis.

12 schools and 18 teams participated. Great turnout. To answer an earlier question, no Colorado didn't come. It was mostly just Northeast teams (because the travel is easier).

Carleton (Ottawa), Delaware, Brown, and Pittsburgh for the extremes in their respective distances from Syracuse.

I think we're probably a borderline top 20 team Nationally, but I guess we'll find out in a few days.

Citrus was the 5th and 6th. Nationals is the 17th-19th. Almost always club tennis events are on weekends. Nationals is the only exception I know of, since it starts on a Thursday.
