I was looking at Youtube recently and noticed a proliferation of homemade recruiting videos of up and coming junior/high school players. Some college coaches have actually posted responses offering outright scholarships to the players. I guess this is pretty common now a days? Coaches don't have to travel here and far to scout but can view potential players via these clips.

The strokes are great, but coaches like to see guys in real matches. Lots of people can look great hitting balls being fed to them, and there's value in seeing that, but ideally they want to see them playing a tournament match.

That's why it's good to include some match play in your recruiting videos.
