I´m thinking about travelling to USA maybe for a year or something, as I have always wanted to try and play college tennis in USA.

My question is, and I hope some of you can help me answer it - what are the chances of getting to play for a College team if you are a foreign player, who does not have pro-potential, but are ranked relatively high natioanlly here in Denmark?

I guess there are a lot of colleges, and I would like to experience the team-spirit and decication, which I feel is a huge part of it, without knowing it for sure

    Hope someone will help me

    Thanks

You cant just play college tennis, you'd have to be part of the college your wanting to play for, meaning you'd have to have a major.

My recommendation is to make a list of universities you wish to attend, get a recruiter to look at you, and hopefully visit a few of the universities. It is possible to join - but you have to contact the university recruiters to have a good chance.
