Comparing 1996-2003 and 2004-2012

    Anyone else notice that from 1996-2003, only once was a player good enough to reach three grand slam finals in one year (Agassi in 1999).

    While from 2004-2012, this has been done 9 times.

    Or weak players. Remarkable that only once in Sampras career was he good enough to reach three grand slam finals in a year. He just wasn't good enough, fit enough, or didn't have as much desire as a Federer who did it 5 times, Nadal who did it twice, and Djokovic who did it twice.

    Looks like McEnroeisanartist is averaging just over 3 threads per day. Of which, only a small minority are of any interest at all.
