    no Steve Johnson fan here?

I'm willing to bet he may even beat Roddick now.

I am quite excited that Stewie has made it to the 2nd round @ the US OPEN. This is a big achievement for him, and I hope he wipes the floor with Gulbis. As I have said before, Steve is a hidden talent, he does not hold back and plays a very aggressive game. Hope he goes far here.

The loss to Sock went three sets with one break apiece and two tiebreaks if I recall, not something to disparage him over. Either Johnson's serve broke down somewhat or Sock played a couple of magnificent return points, and that was the difference in the whole match. Johnson does play much more aggressively than Sock and is faster and more explosive physically IMO. Sock already has started turning into an A-Rod type pusher, having realized that no matter how big you thought your forehand was, it is not big enough to hit from behind your baseline through professional defenders at the tour level. Anyways, I think that Johnson and Goffin would be a very interesting match.
