Connors' wins over Rosewall in 1974

He gave Jimmy a tough match in the Aussie indoors after 74, but lost in straight sets. At one point Jimmy yelled to Ken, who was 40 or more, "Don't you ever get tired?" Connors had to change his sneakers from running so much. Age and Jimmy's game style and power were just a bad match up for Ken's game, especially at nearly 40 year old

thrust, And it was additional "bad luck" for old Rosewall that he always met peak Connors only in the final round of the tournaments.

Nope, those are volley, smash or groundstroke winners alone, he had 11 in each set

I made a stats thread 10 years ago with stats on this match(it's in the stats thread at the top of the page)
I counted 33 winners. The headline of your article says he had 53 winners. I guess you have a different definition of winner.
