hi guys.....where should the contact point be for an offensive slice? in front or beside you or other places?

can u hit an offensive slice out in front of you? and is there a specific place to hit for a defensive slice??

It depends on the situation yes, but you can either keep it low and hit a corner or you can hit it at his feet.

The contact point, just in front of you and a little away from you.

The key to an effect slice BH includes:
1.Squaring the hitting arm and slicing through the ball. Do not chop the ball or else it will float up.

    2. The follow-thru should finished with both arms extended and chest out.

    3. You should slice under the ball, keeping it low and deep. Point of contact should out in front of the body. If the ball is low, you will need to bend the knees.

    4. Hit the slice while moving forward. Stopping with cause an aburption in the swing path.

    5. Slices are usually returned to the opponent's BH side depending on the
    situation.
