Wanted to ask the same question. Looks like a pic from the eighties, so Nadal can't be one of the players. Is he among the spectators ? :)

Probably seventies, before the us open moved to flushing.
Cool pic of Pros...well whoever is down on the court playing, i assume.

This is the west side tennis club in forest hills, queens, ny. This club hosted the us nationals, which became the us open in 68.
This was the ct where vilas beat jimmy six love to cap his conquest of the 77 us open.
Where ilie nastase fought with hans jorgen pohmann. This was a travesty, and i say that from the perspective of a little kid in the cheap seats.
Where fiery fred stolle won in 1966 as an unseeded player.
Where mac was a ballboy for the likes of borg.
Where borg never won even though they had it on hartru from 75-77.
Where ashe won the first us open as an amateur.
Where ashe lost one of the finest five set slam finals on record to ilie nastase in '72.
Where they used a helicopter to dry the lawn after a rain....for rochey and laver. Then laver one his second calendar year grand slam.
Where orantes came back from 5-love to beat vilas in the 75 semi, then trashed connors in the final.

 most of the pics I post aren't Rafa. It's Forest Hills, the old Venue of the US Open. It was posted on FB yesterday and I thought it was awesome.

Holy right hand looks massive compared to left. Is that just a weird angle or what?

Nadal: "So tell me Roger, why we have to keep playing this WTF on indoor hard courts? Is not fair...no?"

Federer:" Oh God Rafa, not this again!"

Djokovic (thinking to himself): " Heh heh, I'm going to beat all your asses out there!"

Roddick: "Oh gee, I'm just so honoured to even be allowed in the same room as you guys!"
