Coria started pretty strong, although he did made 3 double faults in his first service game.
    It's 3-0, Coria to serve ;)

5-3 now.Guille has 7 DF already, if he does advanced, he better keep those down against Nadal.

If he had a half-decent serve, i think he should have won this match. He's made for this surface, but giving your opponents free points will do you no good. I am wondering why he doesn't practice and develop a better serve? He has the groundstroke and touch down...

This match is so hilarious. It's got everything in it. We'll have to see if Coria reaches his personal best of 23 double faults in this match.

Kiefer's 61 UE's are evened out by Coria's 22 double faults. I have never seen a match like this.

Kiefer has had 10 breakpoints in this set alone.

    Coria holds.

I especially liked when they went off for the bathroom breaks after the last set, but the trainer was called, and there was no player for him to treat.

And then later, a linesperson called the ball out, Kiefer sat down, and then Coria challenged the call, and they had to go back out again, and then Coria won the game.

23 doubles and he is about to win the match. Wow! Impressive.

I still think Nadal will have his way with Coria tomorrow. I am thinking 6-3 6-1 for Nadal. First, Coria will be exhausted after two consecutive long 3 setters. Second, Nadal won't let Coria serve 20 doubles because the match will be long over by then.

The miserable match is over, Coria wins, 6-7, 6-4, 6-3, Coria will get smacked around tomorrow, his arm will fall off, he was 71 out of 116 tosses.

That match was so bad it was good.

He hit 22 double faults. 68 UE's by Kiefer. Wow!

I bet Rafa was watching that wondering what tomorrow is going to bring.

Any guesses how many times Coria will hold his serve tomorrow? My guess is twice in 1st set and once in the 2nd. He will break Nadal once in the 1st. Thus we have 6-3 6-1 :)

OK 44 df's in 2 3 setters in a row AND still winning is probably a new record and I doubt anyone will be able to top that!

Coria is the new Anna K.
I've never seen a male player in the last 20 years who had this bad a serve & kept winning matches. That this guy is in the top 10 speaks volumes about the quality of the tour today.

Even huge servers don't double this much, yet a 5'8 dude with no power on the serve anyway can't get a serve in?

Coria has 141 DE's this year. In 11 matches. Good times.

Hey moose, u know why, cause Kiefer was horrible! If it was someone else, Coria would get destroyed!Kiefer served 47 percent for the match.

So how come Coria didn't get destroyed by Massu at the US Open last year(20 DE's & Coria won)? or by Ginepri (14 DE's, a 5 set loss), or by Grosjean at the Australian this year(23 doubles in a 4 set loss) He also had 17 doubles in a first round win at the Australian.

And yesterday vs Mathieu-20 doubles in 3 set win.

47 percent isn't exactly an unusual number for 1st %. Check the atp website, many can & do serve that % & win matches. And Kiefer has some pop on his serve. If it was 27%, you might have a point.
