    So since you can't properly digest corn (due to the cellulose? ), is there any nutritional benefit from eating corn then? Do you just eat it because it taste good basically then?

    You can't properly digest the outer covering of the kernel. The kernel itself, though, you can digest. It's basically starch and a small amount of protein.
