Do you think switching to Babolat could improve Rogers game?

In what way? I don't really see a brand switch benefiting him in any way. I also believe he has a life long or very long contract with Wilson. (Correct me if I'm wrong someone) :)

I think you should call up Rog and suggest this to him. Ask him for %10 of his future slam winnings (he should win 30 slams after switching) as fair compensation for this super secret and insightful information

I actually think he should make the switch Donnay, or Head, or Prince, or Tecnifibre, or Pro Kennex. Hmmm, you think the paint would make the big a difference? It'll be the same racquet underneath right?

If Sampras did it, so can Federer! xD

Seriously though. There's no point in Federer switching to Babolat. Even if Babolat releases something like a Pure Storm Insanity (working title) with a 90 inch head and 12 points HL just for Federer himself, it's not gonna work. He won't benefit in his game or financially. And Wilson still needs an icon, so they're still willing to pay him big to stick with Wilson.

I'm sure he wouldn't be allowed to switch to Babolat because I think he has a lifetime contract with Wilson

Not only should Roger switch to Babolat but he should also wear CB 3.3, Sleeveless shirts, And a bandana............WITH A VAMOS RAFA BULL ON IT.

Really? another thread on this? Feds game is ther most classical style at the moment, His technique suits his type of racquet....16 majors is enough proof.

    Case closed.

I believe Sharapova had a "lifetime" contract with Prince but she managed to get out of it.

As for switching, it would take a long time for Federer to adapt to a new racquet. Going from a 90" headsize Wilson to a bigger Babolat would be a huge change and he couldn't possibly be able to achieve the comfort level while he was playing a full schedule.

Perhaps, like Sampras, he'll save a switch for life after the tour.

I hated the PD from babolat because you need tons of spin to have a good control.

federer even now sometimes has problems with long balls. He would need to play with much more spin to keep his UEs down.

I think that kind of racket wouldn't help him at all.

Raonic thrashs them all with a wilson.

He would serve 300 with a babolat.

then tugs his shorts, like he is pulling out a wedgie then sniffs his fingers and touch his nose. Lastly, push his hair back on both sides behind his ears even though he is wearing a headband and it is not necessary

And don't forget be OCD about his water bottles, keep his opponent waiting for an endless duration before every match, and take 60 seconds between points.

Federrer should switch to Agassi like OS racquet and enjoy his second career from the age of 29. Agassi managed to win more slams (5) from the age of 29 than before that (3). So Federrer easily could win another 17-19 titles...

and yes, i'm being sarcastic here:twisted:

Not really. In her heyday Sharapova was responsible for a lot of money for Prince. Look how well the O3 White sold when it came out. It was and still is one of the most popular racquets out there. Many people gave it a try simply b/c she was using it.

At the end of the day she sold a lot more of those than Federer did of his racquet which, realistically, a lot of players can't use. Then again that's never stopped people before!

Still MS was worth big bucks to Prince as well as her other advertisers. She still is.

ha ha i think you should've added a note that the link is to the retail version. Fed will use a pro stock which will be even lighter, longer, stiffer, more head heavy, thicker beam, etc... also, Fed has already scheduled an elbow and shoulder replacement surgery for right after RG because his arm is supposed to fall off after using this racquet...

We seem to know the same ppl then, I heard that wilson made this frame for Roger only because he promissed that he will win RG for the next 10 years. Roger will never shank again thanks to his new frame. I also heard that he has been testing the new Nadal underwear called ITCH!. That combo is unbeatable!!!.

Wilson reps confirm that Roger will be given a prototype bionic arm to handle all the damage inherent to using this frame.

This coupled with the aforementioned bionic arm will guarantee his dominance for the next 1,000 years.

the reason why agassi won in his 30s is because he started to work real hard again instead of taking drugs and ****ing chicks all day.

has nothing to do with his racket.

no, all his success was attributed to the OS racquet. if he used an even bigger one, he woul've won more. same for sampras... and federer...

lay off the serious attitude - this thread is supposed to be funny

If Sampras can switch to the PST with a 98 sq in head, maybe Fed could use that extra head space to handle Nadal's topspin at the French.
