Yikes.. ah well, they crack all the time..

Don't know why, but Head is really commonly known for cracks at the moment. I know a few players myself who had to bring it back for cracks, mostly at the throat. The LM Heads seem particulary good at that..

One of my LM Prestiges cracked too.. Sent it back to head and they said they'll send me a new one in 4 weeks.

Each head racquet comes with a 1 yr limited warrentee assuming you don't abuse them.

I know several people who have cracked LMs too.

2 of my LM Prestige Mid are strung at 62lbs. Even though, 62 is the max on the recommended tension, but I think it is not the limit of it. So, far they play beautifully, but only the paint job is terrible.

Of course, the Hot Melt 200G is more stiff than the LM, and 2 of them is not quite the same. The flex of the LM is really the reason I liek it so much.

me too. My LM Prestige MD cracked at the throat and strung at 57lb with luxilon ALU. I 've got my replacement strung with natural gut now, so there won't be as much stress on the frame when you mis-hit....
