it was a low slice and i dug it out hard, it was my older 335 and i dint notice until after i lost, one of the worst matches i have every played, so now i must drop the 100ish i was gonna spend on my bike on a new stick, oh well
she cracked right at 3 o'clock, its actually a bit depressing

This post made no sense. Are you saying that cracking your first frame is a joke? If so, you're a joke.

Anyway, I'm sorry, iplaybetter. At least it was unintentional... ;)

A couple days ago at school practice, I had to play with this kid that is not that good(I also really dont like him) . I was playing backhand side by the way. I went for a forehand volley and at the same time said(I forgot which) I got it, or mine! And he came right up and swung at the ball, and slammed the crap out of my racquet. Because of the extra help on the volley he gave me, the ball went beatifully right into the net. For about ten seconds after he hit it, I thought I was gonna kill him. I took a loot at my racquet and What do you know? My racquet was cracked right at two o'clock. Needless to say i wasn't in the best mood for the rest of the match.

the frame had taken a beating, but i believe it was my tenancy to really dig out low slices that did it in

    Do you mind posting pictures?
Don't you make good money from stringing rackets though?

i feel alot better playing now with a cheaper racket because i don't have to worry as much about cracking them. If i broke a $200 racket i would freak out.

Dug it out hard from where... beneath the court?

How do you crack a racquet hitting a slice?... or was it one of those desperate slice shots hit on a short ball while darting forward? If so, I'd classify that as a dig rather than a slice.

    $200 retail.

I won a brand new 335 16x20 for 85 bucks (+10 shipping) sittin on the dock of the Bay :)

It's a nice racquet and hits magnificently. Strung it up with Tecnifibre Poly mains (the tangerine transparent ones) and gut crosses.

Still having a hard time moving away from my Aerogel 100's though :-?

Dude, seriously???? ...The frame your after currently goes for $200 retail, and then you just won that very same item on the bay for ONLY $85?

You just bought yourself a counterfeit, I think, most likely. I would only buy used frames from there, NEVER new! SO many horror stories out there from other buyers!

You are just starting on that art, with effort and practice you'd be able to match Safin's record one day.

Hey do they replace rackets due to any crack? I threw my prince in frustration and caused a crack. However I never threw a racket in anger before. Shouldn't have started :(
