I just discovered a crack in the handle of my PD+. Will this affect the racquet

or my play in any way?

it might not effect the way the racket plays but when i found a crack on my old pro staff, i was anxious every time i hit with it because of the crack. plus it made a weird pinging noise. so for me, it was more of a mentally issue. not sure if the racket played "worse" than it did before it cracked.

I had a crack, which caused my strings to break more frequently.

i doubt that a crack in the handle will cause strings to break more frequently though...maybe the hoop, but not the handle

It's all the way at the bottom off the handle, starting at the butt cap going up about a few inches.

    how'd you crack it?

have you tried playing w/ it? im sure it wouldnt be too bad unless the handle was moving around while you gripped it

well actually, I've been playing with it for quite a while. I got the raquet from a friend, he was selling it really cheap. (pd= for 65 dollars 7/10 condition). I don't think there is any problem with it.

It'd most likely affect performance, how much I couldn't say
