Hey everyone. I'm pretty much new to the forum and thought I'd throw up some videos of me hitting some groundies. Any critique is gladly accepted.

Sorry about the poor quality. I took these with my cell phone and when I can get a decent camera I'll put on some better videos
The first one is of my backhand which I consider the weaker side.

Ok, this one is of my forehand. The feeds were pretty short because I was practicing attacking balls.

On your forehand you seem to be like angled/leaning backwards... thats all I can see thats wrong with your technique

EDIT: Oh and on your backhand you need to be transferring weight into the shot

It doesn't look too bad though. Maybe I should wear soccer clothes for tennis sometime :)

On your backhand, keep your right elbow tucked in, getting the racquet head below the ball, and finish with the racquet over the right shoulder so that you finish with a "kiss" to the left bicep. As it is, you are hitting across the body and not getting any type of power or consistency.

yea i think getting my racquet down a little lower would give me some more topspin too. thanks for the advice.
