Cumulative Ranking points

    If the ranking points for the ATP did not reset and you did not lose points but could only gain points, would this help solidify a more undisputed GOAT? And who would probably have the most points?

    I'm pretty sure it's a no. Because some players took years off either due to injury or wartime efforts or before the the Open Era. So cumulative points is pretty worthless.

    Also many people consider Grand Slams to be a huge factor in determining GOATs and there are occasions where the a year end's current #1 never one a Slam.

    Another major factor is if the player is diverse enough to win on several, if not all types of courts instead of being a specialist.

    In men's im pretty sure that no number has never won a slam.
