Never used them. What's the story? How long do they last?

I like cushioning in a tennis shoe, but that's often tough to find.

Is it worth it to get insoles?

Custom insoles tend to not have a lot of cushioning. Mine cost a few hundred bucks, they cracked within 20 months got money back and bought superfeet. My podiatrist even suggested superfeet if you play sports with insoles, they work just as well as custom orthotics (if you don't have severe foot pains already).

Do a search here for more information. I know there has been a few threads concerning this issue. Good information posted on them as well. I use custom ones now ( $300). I have used cheaper ( $99) before without much success. They were just not as comfortable and didn't last long.
Right now my custom ones last me 2-3 years.
