The frame originally was owned by a polish comedian (Marcin Daniec) but the specs are for Nadia Petrova.

Petrova has strong connotations with Poland (Kraków).

Whether the frame was used by Petrova herself remains a mystery and was not mentioned on the auction.

Exactly, Automatix vel ED.:) But this frame has never beed used. A friend od Daniec received it, I guess, from Petrova during tournament in Hamburg. It was couple years ago, in 2004 or 2006.

I didn't see any info that it was actually used but it doesn't matter. :) By the way, I forgot to ask which gripsize is it? L3 or L4?

Ohhh my freaking god. He bought the frame from a charity auction. Just like Fabfed acquired Nadals APD from Hit for Haiti charity auction. He's a normal recreational player and tennis enthusiast just like me.

    The racquet is authentic.

Initially, I thought it was something new for Petrova...after your first reply, it is obvious that this is an old stick...

Upsss... sorry! Didn't know that this was the route you took.

I was surprised myself when I saw this frame. Petrova? Bosworth? What gives? :)

BTW how's Prague working out for you? I remember your thread in the Travel section.

I wasn't aware that Petrova ever used a Bosworth.

Me either. But I don't think they'd lie on a charity auction using the name of a known comedian.

Hey, Prague is great. A lot of great tennis here, too. I wish the summer stretched a little bit longer, but hey...
I also spend some time (at least once per month) in Wroclaw. Where are you located?

Currently in Czestochowa. Working on getting that PhD. :)
This year summer was dreadful, very rainy and cold. Hope next year will be better.

Did you have some fun besides tennis? Or only tennis, tennis, tennis...

Petrova used to have her Babolat racquets built by Boz.

That racquet was built for her to test in March of 2006... very difficult to get most players to give up the $ from a major manufacturer though.

Grip size 3.4/8, unstrung SW 338.

unstrung sw of 338 would give a strung sw of 368. seem abit high:confused:

    Automatix, no problem. :)
Some specs of this stick straight from Bosworth:
    - 361.5 grams (12.8oz) Total Weight
    - 323.3 mm Balance (6.3 pts head-light)
    - 368 (kg*cm2) inertia (swingweight)
    - 686.5 mm Overall Length (27.0in).

That frame was originally strung with a hybrid using Luxilon Alu Power 1.25 in the mains, and a special Light Blue Uncoated 1.27 natural gut string they had specially produced for Martina Navratilova. Both mains and crosses were strung at 65 pounds
