Well this racket is just a spare racquet lying around in my room that I dont even touch anymore and its about 8.3 ounces unstrung, 8 points HH, 27.5 in. long, and 110 sq. in. headsize. It's way too light and stiff for me so I just wanted to see if I could customize it to the point where I could use it as a spare racquet without hurting my arm. I'm thinking of making it more or less even balanced and weighing around 11 ounces strung. Any suggestions? BTW does this even sound like a good idea or a waste of time?

maybe add 4 oz of lead to the handle? hahaha iv really never customized a racquet since i do think a racquet is made the way it is for a reason.

but hey, kinda makes sense. maybe it might even play well.

I have a 6.3 mid to which I have added significant weight on the handle from just above the hand to about 8 1/2 " up the handle. Adding weight this way does not make the racket feel heavy but makes it play much more solidly.

For in depth info on racket mods search posts by Travelrjm or Johncauthen
